A Typical Day
As a PLC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining industrial automation systems based on PLC technology. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient control processes across industrial environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
- Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for automated systems
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into control logic
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC-controlled processes
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMI, and other industrial systems
- Perform testing, commissioning, and validation of automation solutions
- Ensure system reliability, safety, and performance optimization
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider
- Customer success-oriented
- Fluency in English is a must

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA and HMI systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control panels
- Familiarity with industrial networks and field devices
- Experience in troubleshooting live production environments
- Understanding of safety standards and industrial regulations
- Experience in Agile or structured project environments
