Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and continuously improve security controls across infrastructure, applications, and networks.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediation.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Evaluate and implement security solutions and tools to protect endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Educate internal teams on security best practices and foster a security-first culture.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security Engineering.
- Strong understanding of network and application security, firewalls, encryption, authentication, and access control.
- Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud providers.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in English (B2 or more).
Preferred qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Full-time and Remote availability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
