Engineering · Staff Augmentation

A senior engineer who arrives with our whole toolbox.

Not a résumé with a rate. An engineer we already work with, briefed on how we deliver, embedded in your team from the first sprint — with the profile, the terms, and the exit written down before you say yes.

A senior engineer who arrives with our whole toolbox. Every Sophilabs engineer works AI-augmented — code generation, test generation, documentation tooling — and brings the habits behind our delivery: code review as routine, tests woven in, decisions written down. You add one person; the practices come along.

What arrives before the first call

Every engineer we present comes with a profile built from their interview transcript — the technologies they used and how, what they personally built as distinct from what their team delivered, their role on each project — in our standard format, produced by an agent we built for our own hiring and have run in production since early 2025. It reaches you the same day, not the same week. And it never overstates: where the transcript doesn't support a claim, the profile leaves it out.

How it works

  1. Tell us the profile

Stack, seniority, team context, time zone needs.

  2. Meet the engineers

Real candidates from our own team, interviewed by yours. The person you meet is the person who shows up.

  3. Trial period

You only pay if you continue. That is the whole clause.

  4. They join your team

Your standups, your repo, your tools — with us staying accountable for fit and quality behind them.

FAQ

  • How fast can someone start?

It depends on the profile — and we tell you before anything is signed, not after. Honest availability beats a promised bench.

  • What if it isn't a fit?

The trial period exists for exactly that: you only pay if you continue. And that conversation happens with us directly — no procurement queue.

  • How is this different from your Product Development pods?

Augmentation adds people to your team, under your direction. Pods take accountability for outcomes. If what you need is a result rather than a person, that's the other page — and we'll tell you so.

Tell us what the team is missing.

Describe the role and the stack, and an engineer replies with who we'd propose and why — not a list, one or two people we'd stand behind. If the answer is “not us,” you'll hear that too.
